About Dr Jaclyn Shaw Jarvis

Veterinarian

Jaclyn is a small animal veterinarian with over 10 years experience. She grew up in America with a passion for animals, science, and healthcare. After considering a career as a medical doctor, she combined her interests to pursue veterinary medicine. Jaclyn trained and worked in New York City before moving to Sydney in 2014 and joining the Vaucluse Vet team. She has recently endeavoured to take on the business side of things at Vaucluse Vet as well, and designed the new clinic at 46 New South Head Rd.

Jaclyn has completed extra training in emergency medicine, surgery, veterinary acupuncture, and has a special interest in geriatric patient care. She recently completed additional studies at Taronga Zoo for native wildlife care.

At home Jaclyn loves to spend time with her Aussie family and friends and her pets Lucy the cavoodle and Finn the cat.
